This dot paper gives you a grid of light dots instead of full lines, so you get the structure of graph paper without the lines showing up around whatever you write or draw. It comes in five dot spacings and two colors. 🔵

Why dot paper instead of lined or graph paper
Lined paper decides for you: horizontal lines, one fixed spacing, that’s it. Graph paper gives you structure in both directions but the lines stay visible in the finished page, boxing in whatever you put down.
Dot paper sits between them. The dots give you alignment when you want it and disappear when you don’t. Write in straight lines, box out a table, sketch a diagram, or ignore the grid entirely — the page doesn’t look ruled either way.
That’s the whole reason bullet journals standardized on it.
Which dot spacing should I pick?
- 5mm — the bullet journal standard. If you’ve used a Leuchtturm or a Rhodia dot notebook, this is the spacing you’re used to.
- 1/8 inch — the finest in the set, slightly tighter than 5mm. Good for detailed sketching and small handwriting.
- 1/5 inch — a middle-ground spacing that works for general notes without feeling busy.
- 1/4 inch — the roomiest. Best for larger handwriting, quick layouts, and anyone who finds 5mm dots visually noisy.
If you’re not sure, start with 5mm.

If you want more layout options, try isometric dotted grid paper or large grid graph paper for different sketching needs. For more structured pages, look at graph paper with numbers, circle dot grid paper, and organic chemistry note paper. These options work well if you want to build a flexible notebook or sketchbook stack.
How to use it
Print at actual size, not “fit to page,” or the dot spacing won’t match what you expect.
For bullet journaling, print several 5mm pages and either bind them or keep them in a folder — that way you’re not committing to a whole notebook of one layout. For sketching, the lighter grey version reproduces better if you’re scanning or photographing the finished page.
