Hex grids are the backbone of tabletop wargaming and RPG map-making, since hexagons give you six equal neighboring directions instead of the awkward diagonal problem square grids have. Use the 3/4″ or 1″ size for dungeon and overworld maps, or the 1/2″ size if you’re fitting a big map onto one page.
For chemistry and science
Organic chemistry structures are built on hexagons (benzene rings and beyond), which makes hex graph paper genuinely useful for chemistry homework and lecture notes, not just a novelty grid.
