Print a free Halloween maze for the kids and buy yourself five quiet minutes this October.
This download gives you three printable Halloween mazes — easy, medium and hard — so the whole range of ages at your table gets one that actually fits.
Mazes are my go-to when I need five quiet minutes and I don’t want to hand out another coloring page. A kid bent over a maze is a focused, quiet kid — and they’re building problem-solving and pencil control without noticing.
Use them in the classroom, hand them out at a party, or keep a stack for quiet time at home. Each halloween maze printable prints clean on standard 8.5 x 11 paper — pick the level that fits your kid, from a first maze for preschoolers to a genuinely tricky one for grade-schoolers.
🎃👻 Pair it with the Halloween I Spy game and a Halloween word search for a quiet-time bundle.

Which Halloween Maze for Which Age?
Three mazes come in the download, and they genuinely differ in difficulty — match the sheet to the kid:
- Maze 1 (toddler–preK): short path, wide lanes, few dead ends — a straight-ish line to the finish
- Maze 2 (K–2): a real maze with a handful of wrong turns
- Maze 3 (grades 3+): longer path, narrow lanes, plenty of dead ends to trip up the confident ones
How to Use Halloween Mazes in the Classroom
Mazes are the ultimate calm-down activity — a kid bent over a maze is a quiet kid. Use them as a center, an early-finisher option, or the thing you hand out when the party has peaked and everyone needs to sit down for five minutes.
They’re secretly fine-motor practice too: staying inside the lines builds the same pencil control that handwriting needs.
For pre-writers, the wide-lane halloween maze worksheet is tracing practice in disguise.
